One year ago Bing’s parent announced a global strategic partnership to build the next generation smartphone ecosystem with Finland-based Nokia phone maker during the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, Spain. Today, at the same conference, Nokia and the Bing Maps team (plus Windows Phone team) delivered their first project which combined style and design into a unified map.
During the past one year Bing Maps designers have been working closely with Nokia Maps team and the Windows Phone team to merge both parties map elements, as the Bing blog post stated, the team’s goal is to “create a more beautiful and functional map.”
Nokia’s website showed two types of maps, an older version and newest version which depicting the contrast and usability between the two types.
