Bing and Facebook engineers just announced some new features for the social networking and the decision engine at Bing’s parent headquarter in Silicon Valley on October 13 (Wednesday). As per a blog post by Satya Nadella, Sr. VP of Online Services Division, wrote “bringing in information from your Facebook friends and people who share networks with you, and we will show you what your friends have liked (using Facebook's public like platform) as you navigate through search results in Bing.”
While conducting regular search using Bing, the decision engine shows standard web results plus “Liked by your Facebook friends” results. The social networking information can help Bing users to make better and more informed decisions. As Mr. Nadella later wrote “For many decisions we make every day, both small and large, it's the advice of others that help us answer a question.”
