The research firm comScore just released its monthly search market numbers in America for the month of September 2012. Bing’s search market was unchanged for the past two months in a row, maintaining 15.9% share of search in August and September, 2012.
Yahoo’s Bing-powered search dropped to 12.2% share in September, compared to 12.8% share in August, or a drop of 0.6% share.
The Search Alliance’s share of search market was 28.1% in September, compared to 28.7% share in August, or a drop of 0.6% share.
Google captured almost everything from Yahoo’s loss. Google increased to 66.7% share in September, compared to 66.4% share in August, or an increase of 0.3% share.
