The 2011’s data shows that most job-seekers prefer to work for American technology companies. Bing’s top rival and search giant Google ranks number one on both categories business and engineering for this year’s global talent attraction index published by Universum.
Bing’s parent Microsoft ranks considerable high on several categories as the world’s largest software company mostly beat out Intel and Apple for people seeking engineering careers. Bing’s parent was ranked two spots behind its closest rival and top-rank Google. At number two is IBM.
The list of world’s top companies for job-seekers in 2011 was released by Universum who is an International employer branding company. The annual report shows global top 50 companies for job-seekers with a title “The World’s Most Attractive Employers 2011,” click here to download in .pdf format. The data was crunched from samples of 160,000 career seekers who have either a business or engineering background. Data for the report was collected from 12 largest and most advanced economies in the world including America, Brazil, Britain, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Russia, and Spain.
