Starting October 1, 2010, Bing will begin using a new name for its web crawler. The new name is BingBot instead the old name as msnbot, reported Bing team.
According to Bing Crawl and Index teams, a new 'user agent' will show the following HTTP header in webmaster’s server log:
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; bingbot/2.0 +http://www.bing.com/bingbot.htm)
