On Saturday night, the decision engine will go dark, but it has nothing to do with the outage similar to early December last year. However, Bing team is planning to go dark from 8:30PM EDT (5:30PM PDT) to 9:30PM PDT, or for a total of 4 hours, as per the Bing team blog.

Users will not see those beautiful photographs on Bing homepage in honor of Earth Hour. We hope first time users will not stay away from the decision engine while they need to conduct searching. The decision engine will be functional as a normal day.
