Bing Autosuggest implements additional support for query history. To reduce time to re-type the previously query, the new feature allows users to look into the pull-down menu by typing at least the first two characters of the query word or subject (for example, type "ol" will show "olympic"). According to Bing team blog, 44% users usually maintain their queries history for over one week, so the new feature will help people to find decision faster. For privacy purpose, the new feature also allows users to turn ‘on’ or to turn ‘off’ the query history. The Autosuggest feature also distinguishes the history query in purple color.
