In the race to capture over 300 million Chinese users where land-line is impossible as majority Chinese users access Internet thru mobile phone, Bing China, a.k.a. “biying” (English: “giving answer”) will soon launch Bing mobile portal in China. The mobile portal, as reported by pcworld.com, will offer Bing decision engine for mobile users (maps, local info, and weather info), chatting thru Internet Messenger, and access to Hotmail thru mobile phone. The new portal will compete directly with Baidu.com (a very large local provider) and Google China. According to the most recent data, both Baidu.com and Google have controlled over 95% of China search market.
