A worldwide traffic report published by market researcher comScore showing over 113 billion searches were conducted in July 2009 (an increase of 41% from 12 months ago). Google controlled about 76.7 billion searches, or 67.5% of world market share.
Meanwhile, 3.3 billion searches were conducted thru Bing (formerly Live Search), representing about 2.9% of world market share. Compared to one year ago, Bing (Live Search) only received about 2.3 billion searches. From July 2008 to July 2009, searches conducted thru Bing (Live Search) has increased about 41%.
