Bing Webmaster Center has just published an alert to all world webmasters regarding a potential of over counting visitors to any website referrer logs. This was due to Bing “roBot” (aka: MSNBot) who is going to invade or crawl many websites. Bing is trying to work really hard to index as many as websites around the world in the next few weeks.
As reported thru Bing Community website:
“…webmasters may begin seeing an increased amount of traffic from the new bot on their sites.”
Bing Community also assured all webmasters that Bing roBot's should be working seamlessly, however, webmasters are encouraged to report any issues to Bing's support team and visit their Crawling/Indexing forum regularly.
With my experience (as a webmaster and as a end user) Bing is the worst search engine. Same website is indexed again and again in the first page.
I find it to get the real result we have to go for google only. Second comes Yahoo.
But things is going in such a way that Microsoft is ready to spoil the yahoo by offering Bing technology to yahoo. only Microsoft will offer a bad technology to replace a better technology. And as normal they are helping google to increase their search share
