Bing continues to grow since its launch early June 2009. According to Hitwise, as reported by seattlepi.com, during the first week of launch of Bing portal (Bing + Live + MSN), it had a 4.3% of America search market share. It continued to gain in the second week of launch with a 4.6% share. Then, it went up to the third week of launch with a 5.4% share. Finally, it hit a 6.7% America search share on the fourth week of launch. Overall, as per Hitwise data, the average weekly gain of search share was at 25%.
