As Bing’s parent is set to open several stores this fall ’09 to promote its products and services near an Apple store in all major cities in America, gizmodo.com found a set of PowerPoint presentation on Friday (July 24). The PowerPoint slides were leaked to gizmodo.com, and according to this gadget blog website, “it's [Microsoft Store] going to make the Apple Store look downright boring.”
Based on those leaked slides, there is a special section of the Microsoft Store which is similar to Apple’s Genius Bar. This section could attract a lot of Bing “real” visitors to Microsoft Store which is currently labeled it as Answer Bar or Guru Bar (it could also be dubbed as “Bing Bar”).
As the new Microsoft Windows 7 Operation System is now scheduled to be launch on October 22, we speculate that those Microsoft Stores will be opened in American major cities (i.e., Los Angeles the Grove and Santa Monica Third Street Promenade) around that time frame to support back-to-school shoppers and the big holiday sales.
