As reported by the Wall Street Journal, board of directors from Yahoo! Inc. met its counterpart from Microsoft on July 23 (Thursday) to discuss a possible merger of both search engines thru ad-sales deal. While both companies had already reported their earnings this week, both teams of executives should have more time to settle and strike a deal within days.
As told early this week, Yahoo! CEO Carol Bartz gave several great comments about Bing and gave kudos to the Bing team (read: Yahoo! Inc. Q2 2009 Earnings Call Transcript). Bartz said during Yahoo's earnings conference “I think they have done a good job…”
